David Thibault became a social media sensation in December 2013 thanks to his stunning interpretation of the song “Blue Christmas” popularized by Elvis Presley.
The clip of the song went viral and was viewed over 13 million times and he became an instantaneous phenomenon all over the world including the United States. Offers poured in from all sides and he was invited on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Today Show and given the unique privilege of singing Elvis songs on the Graceland site in Memphis, Tennessee.
In 2014 he toured his first solo show to sold out audiences and continued to be present on the International scene by participating on the French version of The Voice, “La Voix,” completing the adventure among the finalists.
In 2016 he released his first album on the Mercury Label, distributed by Universal Music France. The album was celebrated and appreciated by his numerous fans in Quebec and in France.
Since being revealed to the general public David Thibault has established himself as one of the most prominent male performers in Quebec, leading two major tours head on. His very current, retro-tinged style has made him an essential artist and a solid Ambassador of the 50’s and 60’s rock and roll repertoire.
